Welcome back to Year 10 and 12

As well as being Head of Religion and Philosophy, Zak leads our digital vision. He was instrumental in developing our excellent online learning offering during lockdown, much to the relief of our parents, and is now leading the roll out of our school device programme.

Welcome back to Year 10 and 12

As well as being Head of Religion and Philosophy, Zak leads our digital vision. He was instrumental in developing our excellent online learning offering during lockdown, much to the relief of our parents, and is now leading the roll out of our school device programme.

Following the updated government guidelines, we are delighted to see our Year 10 and 12 students back in school.

Every student in these year groups has been invited to come to school for an afternoon of academic catch up, pastoral support and social time with classmates. Social distancing measures and a new one-way system meant school wasn’t quite as they had left it 12 weeks ago, but the students were still pleased to be back. The delicious freshly baked chocolate brownies were an added bonus!

Students will also have the opportunity to play some sport for the next two weekends and we look forward to seeing them on the new tennis courts at Failand, practising in the cricket nets and testing their athletic prowess on the track. There’s even a new ‘footgolf’ course to try out.

QEH’s annual Lizzies Awards celebrated pupil creativity with an inspiring showcase of short films based on the themes ‘Three Wishes’ and ‘Myths’.

The Lizzies 2025

As our Year 13 students prepare for their exams, QEH marked this poignant moment with a day of celebration, reflection, and tradition. From heartfelt speeches and emotional goodbyes to the historic reading of The Charge

Celebrating the Class of 2025

Live theatre is here to stay at QEH, as pupils from Years 3 and 4 put on an incredible production of Jack and the Beanstalk last week in our theatre.

My boys have loved QEH!  They felt at home so quickly and really enjoyed being able to be themselves with like-minded lads.  The teachers really 'got' them and, although they're very different characters, QEH brought out the best in both of them.
