Congratulations to Ollie on signing professional terms with the Bristol Bears!

Ollie is a QEH ‘lifer’, as he joined QEH Juniors in Year 3, eleven years ago.  It’s been great to watch his development through the years, both on and off the pitch, and to see him achieve his dream to play professional rugby.

Adrian Jarvis, former professional player and QEH Director of Rugby, said, “We are delighted for Ollie to have been offered the opportunity to combine University and professional rugby. It is testament to his hard-work and determination, as he missed so much rugby this year through injury, to receive this offer from the Bristol Bears. QEH wish Ollie all the best in this exciting chapter of his academic and rugby career.”

QEH’s annual Lizzies Awards celebrated pupil creativity with an inspiring showcase of short films based on the themes ‘Three Wishes’ and ‘Myths’.

The Lizzies 2025

QEH Sports Day 2025 was full of energy and school spirit, with students, staff, and families coming together despite the drizzle. From exciting races to a tasty BBQ, it was a great celebration of the school year—topped off by Bird House winning the H.P. Stoate Cup.

An Adrenaline-fueled Sports Day 2025!

Live theatre is here to stay at QEH, as pupils from Years 3 and 4 put on an incredible production of Jack and the Beanstalk last week in our theatre.
