Congratulations to our new Senior Prefect Team!

Congratulations to our newly appointed School Officers!

Over the Spring Term Year 12 students applied for positions as School Officers. The extensive application process involved writing a letter of application to the Head, a presentation to a member of the Senior Leadership Team and two interviews, including one with the Head.

These positions of responsibility and leadership play a crucial role in the running of the school and also represent the student voice of the school.

As well as the Captains, Vice-Captains and the traditional Captain of Boarders role this year all the Prefects have a specific area of responsibility in the school.

These include:

  • Academics
  • Alumni and BEP
  • Eco and Sustainability
  • EDI
  • Junior School liaison
  • Marketing, Events and Catering
  • Peer Support
  • Year 7
  • Year 8
  • Year 9

We are looking forward to working with them over the coming year.

Keep an eye on our social media to meet all the Officers over the next few weeks!

A morning of celebration at QEH as students collect their A-level results.

QEH Students Shine in their A-Level Results

Congratulations to all our pupils on their excellent GCSE results!

QEH Celebrates Another Year of Excellent GCSE Grades

As well as being Head of Religion and Philosophy, Zak leads our digital vision. He was instrumental in developing our excellent online learning offering during lockdown, much to the relief of our parents, and is now leading the roll out of our school device programme.

On stage!

Year 11, 12 and 13 Art students went to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford for a tour by Clare Cory, the Learning Officer for Secondary and Young People. It was her first tour since lockdown so she was particularly energised and enthusiastic with the group!

Art Trip to Oxford

My boys have loved QEH!  They felt at home so quickly and really enjoyed being able to be themselves with like-minded lads.  The teachers really 'got' them and, although they're very different characters, QEH brought out the best in both of them.
