Welcome to The Elizabethan Society
Our QEH alumni, more commonly known as OEs or Old Elizabethans, are part of a network bound together for life by their shared school experiences.
The school was founded in 1586 by John Carr for the provision of orphans and poor boys. John Carr’s philanthropic beliefs remain as relevant today as they did then “dum tempus habemus operemur bonum” (While we have time let us do good).
We are providing an increasing number of opportunities for our alumni to come together. Whether that is for a trip down memory lane tour of the school, a visit to a sports match with old friends, attendance at our annual Charter Day, or one of our dinner /drinks events.
This year we are particularly looking forward to helping former classmates reunite and celebrate leavers anniversaries. Last year we welcomed back a class who left 50 years ago and this year we are looking to welcome back leavers from 2018, 2013, 2003, 1993, 1983, 1973, and 1963.
In recent years, The Elizabethan Society has moved online to OE Connect, a place where alumni can reunite with old friends, reminisce, network with former students, discover what is happening today at QEH, or give back to the school by donating or mentoring.
If you are one of our alumni, please do register your profile to reconnect.
