After months of meticulous planning and dedicated effort, we are delighted to announce the successful completion of the extensive roof restoration project. This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to safeguarding the historic architecture that defines our beloved school.

Head Mr Heathcote had the unique opportunity to ascend the towering scaffolding for a final inspection of the completed works. The project also uncovering a touch of history, the school’s quirky, funny-looking grotesques, perched high above the building. These charming relics are a delightful testament to the rich character and history embedded within our school’s walls. The whimsical grotesques can once again take their place as proud guardians of our historic site.

Reflecting on this significant occasion, Mr Heathcote remarked:

“It’s superb to see the high-quality renovation work which has been completed through the collaboration between the QEH estates team and external contractors. There has been a genuine shared commitment to preserving this wonderful building for generations to come.”

At the inaugural AI in Education Conference hosted by HMC, QEH's Mr Verry presented on how the school is harnessing AI for innovation. His insights emphasised practical applications that enhance learning. The event featured many notable speakers, underscoring QEH's commitment to leading educational innovation and exploring AI's future in the classroom.

AI in Education: Practicalities and Possibilities

As well as being Head of Religion and Philosophy, Zak leads our digital vision. He was instrumental in developing our excellent online learning offering during lockdown, much to the relief of our parents, and is now leading the roll out of our school device programme.

Mr Dunn, Mr Martineau and five prefects, including the Captain of Boarders, took the Harvest Festival donations that QEH had received to The Community of the Sisters of the Church in St Paul's.
