OE support 1st XV as they finish the season

Year 7 went on a team building trip to Osmington Bay PGL centre for a weekend of activities and friendships.

On Saturday, the QEH rugby 1st XV team were incredibly well supported by peers, parents and staff as well as our lovely alumni!

Over 50 OEs gathered in Fortress Failand’s pavilion prior to the match, firstly to keep warm, and secondly to have a catch-up over a bacon roll and a coffee. It was great to see OEs of different ages all reconnecting over their collective memories of QEH rugby and their support of our current QEH players. Old Elizabethans RFC also came along to meet up with former team mates before playing their own matches later that day.

For their final game of the season, QEH 1st XV’s were competing against Beechen Cliff School, and we are pleased to say they won 24- 19! It was a fantastic game to watch with a great atmosphere all around.

Thank you to all of our QEH community for coming along to watch and cheer on the 1st XV in their final fixture! It was brilliant to see so many of you there.

We hope to see many more of our alumni at our events in 2023.

At the inaugural AI in Education Conference hosted by HMC, QEH's Mr Verry presented on how the school is harnessing AI for innovation. His insights emphasised practical applications that enhance learning. The event featured many notable speakers, underscoring QEH's commitment to leading educational innovation and exploring AI's future in the classroom.

The first day of school is a fairly big deal. Many of us will remember it clearly for years to come, often well into our adulthood, even when memories of other events of a similar time are patchy or missing altogether.
