This year’s Lizzies showcased exceptional creativity and filmmaking talent from pupils across the School, with awards presented for directing, cinematography, editing, writing, performance, and more.

Creativity and cinematic talent were on full display at this year’s Lizzies, which proved to be the largest celebration of student filmmaking in the event’s history.

The Lizzies are the QEH’s annual film awards, recognising excellence in filmmaking across a wide range of categories, including directing, editing, writing, performance, cinematography, and sound. Pupils from almost every year group took part this year, producing an impressive collection of films that showcased originality, technical skill, and imaginative storytelling.

The judges praised the ambition and quality of the entries, noting the exceptionally high standard across both live action and animated productions. From compelling performances to carefully crafted soundtracks and sophisticated editing, the evening highlighted the growing strength and creativity of filmmaking throughout the School.

Congratulations to all pupils involved for producing such an entertaining and memorable evening. The event was a fitting celebration of the creativity and talent which continues to make filmmaking such a vibrant part of school life.

Well done to Sidney who represented Gloucester County Cricket Club U18's in Dubai. A testament to her hard work she has shown in training and in matches.
