Back to St George’s

As well as being Head of Religion and Philosophy, Zak leads our digital vision. He was instrumental in developing our excellent online learning offering during lockdown, much to the relief of our parents, and is now leading the roll out of our school device programme.

It was an absolute pleasure to return to the stunning St George’s Concert Hall for our Spring Concert.

130 students took part in this wonderful event that included a variety of music performed and sung by many of the school’s junior and senior chamber ensembles as well as the school choir, wind band and orchestra.

Each performance was really special and every student really upped their game for the concert. Thank you to all those who took part (students, staff and visiting music teachers). The acoustic is world-renowned and raised the quality of the performances to a whole new level.

Ollie is a QEH 'lifer', as he joined QEH Juniors in Year 3, eleven years ago.  It's been great to watch his development through the years, both on and off the pitch.

Huge congratulations to Mark who has joined the top 2% of the population as a member of Mensa. In typical modest fashion, Mark sat the test on a recent weekend and didn't mention it to any of his teachers!

Wednesday 27 January sees people all over the world marking Holocaust Memorial Day 2021 and QEH students will be joining in with a special presentation during form time.

Students Mark Holocaust Memorial Day

Since joining the school, we have been constantly amazed by the support and kindness given by the teachers, staff and other pupils and, above all, by the injection of fun that infiltrates throughout whether they're playing sport, completing a science project and participating in a school play.  No doubt there will be challenges ahead but we're confident the school will provide the support and guidance that has our sons' best interests at heart.
