Sport

Sport, both team and individual, remains popular in the Sixth Form at QEH.

Often, people who stopped playing team games earlier in their school career opt to revive their interest in sport in the Sixth Form.

Currently we offer a variety of sports including: rugby; football; cricket; swimming; badminton; squash; basketball; sailing; hiking and climbing, to name a few. These sports are open to all male and female students, and we are looking forward to working with our first intake of girls to widen our offering.  We have also been approached by a local girls' school and are exploring opportunities for us to run some joint teams.

Our Sixth Form sport options now include Nuffield Gym Packages.

In the Sixth Form you will often have the opportunity to organise, as well as to participate in, House sporting events.

Our Outdoor Education department ensures that there are also opportunities for hiking, climbing, kayaking and mountain biking, and also run the Duke of Edinburgh scheme as well as co-ordinating our Ten Tors teams.
