First female students at QEH celebrate excellent results

For the first time in 430 years, female students are joining in the A-level celebrations at QEH with A*/A grades making up over 60% of their results.  Overall, over one third of students achieved straight A*/A grades.

This week's Leavers' Concert was a terrific event as the upper Sixth musicians were on top form.  We heard music by Springsteen, Charlie Parker and from West End shows, brilliantly performed by talented students.

Students from the Sixth Form Italian programme had the opportunity to spend four days in glorious Tuscany during the Easter holidays, practising their Italian language skills.

STEM Olympiad Success

The British Maths, Physics and Chemistry Olympiad competitions test Sixth Form students at the very highest levels.  We are very proud to say that QEH students can hold their heads high, as their recently received results in these competitions can confirm.

Gecko Theatre workshop stretches Drama students

Sixth Form Drama students have been treated to an exciting start to the new year by a practitioner from Gecko Theatre Company who delivered an inspirational workshop on Tuesday morning.

Making America Great Again!

With the Carol Service still echoing in the ears, 25 Sixth Form students flew to the USA at the end of the Christmas term for six superb days in New York and Washington DC, via an afternoon at the civil war battlefield of Gettysburg.
