Jazzed Up Leavers

The Jazz Band and Upper Sixth musicians gave us a real treat in the QEH Theatre last night.  It was the final performance with the band for several students and they made sure they went out with a bang!



Sixth Formers 'go viral' to inspire other young people to vote

Sixth Form students at Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital are using Berkeley Squares, their online independent newspaper, to inspire other young people to vote in next Thursday’s Metro Mayor election.



Sixth Form expansion - sneaky peek!

Plans for the expansion to the Sixth Form Centre are moving forward, as the furniture designs are finalised. The CAD layouts show the additional Sixth Form common room which will be taking shape during the summer holidays, in readiness for the start of the co-educational Sixth Form in September.



Life at Oxford

A group of aspiring Oxbridge applicants from Year 12 spent the day looking round Oxford University this week.



Inspirational General Studies

Over the last few weeks, Sixth Form students have enjoyed an inspirational series of General Studies seminars - from former pupils of the school.



Tea and Talk - Mental Health Day

Students in Year 12 recently organised a Tea and Talk session to raise awareness of the Mental Health Foundation.



QEH Student Placed in Top 2%

Lukha Aggarwal, Year 13, entered the Royal Economic Society Essay Competition over the summer.  He has been placed in the top 2% and has been highly commended.
