The Sixth Form Centre

At the heart of the Sixth Form Centre are two modern Common Rooms, a servery, flexible seating areas and workstations.

The informal Lower and Upper Common Rooms are designed for relaxation during breaks, with the discrete 'Oval Room' and 'bar tables' in the Lower Common Room doubling as communal work areas during study periods.  Hot and cold food as well as other refreshments are available from breakfast time and through the day from the servery - a well-used and popular facility!  Upstairs, the new Upper Common Room adjoins a designated Silent Work Room and IT Suite. They provide a  separate and more formal environment for serious study, as does the School Library and other quiet working areas around the school.

The Sixth Form Council, comprising Sixth Form representatives, meets regularly to discuss  the day-to-day running of the  Centre as well as wider issues, with the Head of Sixth Form and the Heads of Years 12 and 13.
