The summer production this year was open to Year 7 and 8. Initially we were concerned that such young performers would struggle with the mains roles of Oliver, Fagin, Bill Sykes and others. As rehearsals got under way it became clear that we were dealing with an extremely talented cast and there was no need to worry!

Rupert Heathcote Appointed Head of QEH

The Board of Governors of Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital is delighted to announce the appointment of Rupert Heathcote as Headmaster of the School from Easter 2020.

QEH breaks records at the Ten Tors!

In its 20th year of taking part in the Ten Tors Challenge, QEH had an unprecedented six teams representing the school in the annual event.  With two teams in each of the 35, 45 and 55 Mile categories, QEH had more young people taking part than any other school in the Challenge.


Scholars' trip to Lisbon

Scholarship Programme boys from Years 9 and 10 enjoyed a cultural tour to Lisbon during the Easter holidays.

ISFA Champions for 7th year!

QEH 1st XI are the Independent Schools Football Association South West League Champions for the seventh year running and have enjoyed an undefeated season!

National Chess Finalists

The QEH Chess team have qualified for the ECF National Schools Chess Championship finals, for the third year running.
