Personal Development

QEH takes great pride in the way that our students develop as individuals within a caring community, and the Personal Development module encourages students to explore issues that affect their lives and the lives of those around them.

From the age of 11 to 15, teenage boys have a lot to deal with, individually and socially, emotionally and physically, and it is vital that our boys are prepared to deal with the challenges they will inevitably face as they grow up in the modern world.
Within this module, workshops will help students to stay safe online, provide guidance on sexual education and drug awareness, and encourage them to discuss adolescent issues with their peers.

Year-specific pastoral sessions will also be provided, and will include sessions with visiting speakers on issues such as pornography and consent.
