An early defeat in the group stage did not deter the boys, and they followed on with a draw and a victory, to win through to the quarter finals. A 1 - 0 result meant a place in the semi finals was theirs.
The team had grown into the tournament and had learnt how to use the windy conditions to their advantage, by playing the ball on the floor and ensuring that they tracked back.
In the semi-final, the team went one goal down soon after kick off, but QEH determination and some excellent passing saw the boys overturn the deficit and eventually win 3 - 2, with goals from Jon, Kian and Jack.
So to the Final where St Peter’s Lympstone, awaited. Once again, an early goal meant the team had to dig deep but excellent goals from Jon, Josh and Kian gave QEH a well -deserved victory.
The Finals take place on Wednesday 10 May, at St George’s Park in Burton, where QEH will represent the South West of England for the third time in five years!
