QEH Bristol Sports Day
QEH Bristol annual Sports day is a fun Summer event for competitors and spectators. Side attractions for our younger guests include coconut shy and bouncy castle. Barbecue, hot dogs and burgers are available throughout the day, together with fresh strawberries and light refreshments. After the events a traditional afternoon tea, organised by the school, is served in the Marquee followed by prize giving. A great social day for boys, parents and teachers. There is also an opportunity to purchase school uniform on Sports Day from the 'clothing cupboard' stall.

Our in-house catering team, QEH Bristol Catering, provides first-class meals for our boys. It provides a healthy, balanced diet each day for all of our 680 boys, as well as excellent meals before and after school and for special functions.
QEH Bristol School Anthem
The QEH School Anthem was composed by Director of Music Mr Ed Gent, and the lyrics written by Mr William Plowden of the English department, in order to celebrate the school's 425th anniversary. This video was shot by two students, Hari Newnham and Chris Hyland, in just one day, in order that it might be shown as part of the drama production "425: A History of QEH."
QEH Bristol Ten Tors 2015
The Ten Tors Competition is an annual event that takes place on Dartmoor during mid-May. Teams of six are required to complete a journey of 35 (Bronze), 45 (Silver) or 55 (Gold) miles, carrying full kit, including overnight camping equipment during a 34-hour period. This is a very demanding challenge which begins with classroom training in Autumn, initial day walks in December culminating in hard core walking over several weekends from February....

During the Easter Holidays, the Classics and RP departments joined together for their quadrennial trip to Greece. Led by an enthusiastic team consisting of Mrs Steven, Mme Holdsworth, Mr Jones and Mr Verry, thirty boys spanning Years 7-Sixth Form departed from QEH at 4am on a Saturday morning. After a hectic day of travel and a well-earned rest, we were introduced to our erudite tour guide, Maria, who would accompany us around the most famous landmarks of Mainland Greece and The Peloponnese....
